Eunsun So - Biography

Eunsun So, an award-winning Korean pianist, completed her DMA at Michigan State University and served as a adjuct piano faculty at MSU.

As the prize winner of the 2016/2017 The American Prize in piano performance and winner of numerous international concours, Eunsun So has performed in Asia, North America, and Europe including Carnegie Weill recital hall, New York, Centro di Studi Carlo Della Giacoma, Italy, University of Michigan, Faber Piano Institute, Marshall Music Hall, Michigan, and Yonsei University, Ewha University, U.S Embassy in Seoul.

As an avid chamber musician, her piano duo, Suo Duo has performed for 'Day for the Disabled' sponsored by Seongnam City. Korea and she performed Korean traditional music, 'Blue Bird' with Messiah Philharmonic Orchestra.

Her other work includes being an accompanist for Seoul International Choir, the Community Music School of Michigan State University, a piano instructor at Seoul American elementary school and as an active presenter at the Michigan Music Teachers Association Conference. 

Dr. Eunsun So is a currently visiting professor of piano at Honam Theological University and Seminary, South Korea.
