Hot Spiced Cider
INGREDIENTS:
1 gallon apple cider
½ gallon cranberry juice
½ to 1 cup sugar (to taste)
1 tablespoon whole allspice
4 to 5 sticks cinnamon
1 tablespoon cloves (whole)
INSTRUCTIONS:
Bring juices and sugar to a simmer. Add spices, tied in a cheesecloth bag. Simmer for 2 hours.
Before serving you may also add 1 bottle of cream sherry (to taste).
Garnish with stick of cinnamon (optional)
